Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. ranked as the #1 Mass Market brand in JD Power & Associates’ Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) syndicated study, as well as #2 overall in the industry!

On our way to winning the category, we saw a whopping 30-point YOY increase in the study, improving our rank by +3 positions and clearing the next-closest competitor by 14 points.  We were also the second-greatest point-gainer in the study this year.  And we also finished #1 in four of the five JDPA CSI categories. Lastly, in addition to achieving #1 overall Mass Market brand, we were also ranked #1 Mass Market SUV/Minivans, a new award offered by JDPA this year.  And did I mention the Mass Market average dropped -2 pts YOY? This is astounding, incredible news that each of you contributed to, and every one of you should feel proud of.

This year’s CSI study is the first to include results from our 2022 Outlander owners, with some having owned their vehicle for nearly a year by the time they were surveyed. It’s not unusual for new models to have a potentially negative impact to CSI, and we knew these were going to be customers who’d be hard to please, but thanks to everyone’s commitment to customer experience, we came out on top.

When you look at our track record in customer satisfaction so far this year, these results are no accident:

• In October 2022, we achieved #2 in Reputation’s Automotive Report, up +17 positions from just two years ago
• In November 2022, we improved +4 Mass Market rank positions in JDPA’s SSI Syndicated study, capturing #2 non-premium Asian rank
• Last month, Reputation recognized 64 Mitsubishi Motors dealerships – 20% of our dealer network – with their 800 Awards, a distinguishment of excellence with Reputation Score
• And now with this achievement of #1 Mass Market CSI brand, we have solidified ourselves as a powerhouse in customer experience.
